History

Kipkabus Technical and Vocational College is located in the expansive Uasin Gishu County near Kipkabus Trading Center in the County. Construction of the institution started back in 2014 under the mentorship of Rift Valley Technical Training Institute and completed in 2017. In 2018, it was established and handed over to its founding Principal Isaac Bwambok who oversaw the first Student enrolment in January 2018. In February 2019, Mr Bwambok handed over to Principal Mr Wilson Kimugul who became the institution’s second principal who led the institution till January 2022 When he handed over the reigns to Mr Joseph Kemei. Mr Kemei led the Institution till his retirement in June 2023 when the helm was taken over by the Current principal Mr Erick Tanui.

Our training programs emphasize in acquisition of work competence, entrepreneurial and ICT integrated skills. We strive to provide quality education in true spirit of our motto that is Technology for development. The institute is a centre of excellence in Mechanical engineering production.
